Sorry to use English version!
Coz the hotel I stay in Hong Kong is "The Marco Polo Gateway"; they charge HKD$120 for getting internet 24hrs.
In order to save my $$$; I must use Robin's IBM to update my VicPuah blog!
So....can't really type Chinese in his IBM...
Again, Robin is busy busy for the endless meetings....(poor Honey...) Me just Zzz and get online; about lunch time; go out for lunch...and then, stay in the hotel...wait him to come back....
The subway here is quite convenient; you just click the icon where you want to go; incert the money, and then you can go mostlikely many places in HK w/o having any problems..
Taxi is of course; the easiest way for you to wherever you wanna go..
Price is acceptable; similar to the price in Taipei. But some taxi drivers is too good (meaning: drive too fast); so I still prefer to take MTR..
HK is indeed a shopping center! You can see people walk around in the street; with lots of shopping bags on the hands.
Basicly; the big brand name as LV, Gucci, Prada, Tommy, Miu Miu...all of them are cheaper in HK.
Attention: just "cheaper"; doesn't mean it's Cheappest! It's about 15~30% off, compare to the $$$ in Taiwan.
One more thing to mention is: the average income rate in HK is more than TW..
So; the daily cost in HK is $$$ than TW, too..
I have a friend in HK, she told me for the assistant/secretary in HK, the payment per month is about NTD$52,000..
My God, NTD$52,000 is about a sales manager payment in TW already!!!.
So, welcome to HK, you can spend your money; buy whatever you want to buy..
But Live in HK;that's another story~.
